- Gennie H Review added: 2018.02.26★ ★ ★ ★ ★Had my wedding reception for 50 people here in 2017, it's a dry hire place so you make of it what you want. It has fantastic views and the estate coordinators (not present during you event) are helpful and communication was good. The barn itself is lovely with flagstone floors downstairs and wooden beams upstairs. Note that the upstairs room of this venue is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility and the kitchen is small with limited facilities (but it was perfect for us!). The price is very reasonable and you would be able to host many more people here with the addition of a marquee. The only real downside is the distance from hotels and other places to stay results in high taxi fares for event guests. All in all, we had a fantastic time at Buckminster barn and would recommend to anyone who wants a bit more of a diy event or more control in organising their event.
